Erm... "your daddy"... you do know that 2.1 isn't released? Therefore, it's dogfood. What's more, Google itself describes it as dogfood, in the post i link to:

"At Google, we are constantly experimenting with new products and technologies, and often ask employees to test these products for quick feedback and suggestions for improvements in a process we call dogfooding (from "eating your own dogfood"). Well this holiday season, we are taking dogfooding to a new level."

So perhaps you ought to do your own research. Or learn to read. And write, for that matter. Twat.

James – I’m going to stick to my guns, and say they won’t be releasing anything like the phone people are predicting. Will there be another “Powered by Google” phone, branded by a network or phone maker? Sure. But that’s long way from the kind of Google branded phone people are talking about.

Ian, after the latest do you still think that Google isn't going to release a phone to the public?

I am quite confused by their strategy if they are releasing the Nexus One to the public (outside of developers). It makes little sense to me. It is rumored to be T-Mobile 3G in the US and EDGE only on AT&T. Who is going to pay extra for phone that only works effecively on T-Mobile when they can get a subsidized phone for a fraction of the price that works just as well.
