MacFixIt – Apple Opens Up: Kernel, Mac OS Forge, iCal Server, Bonjour, Launchd

Forget the Mac Pro. OK, don’t forget it, it’s a lovely beast of a machine. Apple’s done some other stuff at WWDC – some stuff that’s really nice for developers. As listed at MacFixIt:

  • Intel Kernel sources. About time too.

  • Mac OS Forge. A one-stop shop for community projects.

  • Calendaring server – open sourced.

  • Apache-licensed Bonjour sources, instead of APSL.
