Incidentally, the current issue of PC Pro includes a comparison of Vista and Mac OS X – and OS X loses, badly. I’ve only had a quick glance through it, but some of the decisions looked a bit, ahem, “interesting”.

    I read it in Borders – while you wouldn’t expect any mag, PC or Mac, to be strictly unbiased, I found myself getting quite angry reading it. Especially the section where Windows gets high marks for its video editing application while the Mac gets no mention of iMovie, Garageband, iDVD etc.

    Now you could argue that iLife is a separate suite to OS X, but if you buy a Mac they are on there so deserve to be reviewed.

    There was so much that was wrong about that article, and that seemed to be based on mythology that I thought we’d seen the back of back in 1998. Ah well. It’s all good for the circulation (mine, not theirs).
