So it seems like what everyone with half a brain suspected was true all along: Ahmed Chalabi was feeding the US government exactly what it wanted to hear about Iraq, in order to provoke a war. [Via Boing Boing]

Oh everybody knew that. The twist now is that Chalabi is alleged to have been run by the Iranians all along. If true, it’s an intelligence operation of such grandeur that you just want to stroll into Tehran and high five the Ayatollahs.
