The county that was the site of the Scopes “Monkey Trial” over the teaching of evolution is asking lawmakers to amend state law so the county can charge homosexuals with crimes against nature, according to qa report in the SJ Merc. The Rhea County commissioners approved the request 8-0 Tuesday.

And people claim that the US and UK have a culture in common?

    the population may not share much of this alleged common culture but the government share more than one would think. one of the least appetising aspects of blairs (largely christian) front bench is their willingness to tolerate the growth of religious education – funding creationist schools and thier support of employment discrimination by religious insititutions. TUC is taking the government to court over this as we speak.
